WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD What are your expectations of the film? Give reasons for your answers. I am expecting there to be over the top action sequences as it is a superhero film. I am also expecting it to play on the title and have dark themes throughout. Narrative turning points - at what points does the plot change? The first turning point was Bruce returning as Batman after 8 years of hiding. This meant that it wasn't just the police against Bane. The next turn was Bruce escaping from prison, giving Gotham a chance against Bane's reign over the city. The final one was Miranda turning out to be Talia, as opposed to Bane. Memorable moments - what moments in the film stood out for you? Give reasons. One of the moments was the plane crash at the start as it set the tone for the rest of the film. I am also expecting over the top dialogue. Narrative turning points - at what points does the plot change? The first turning point was when Lynn and Bob were captured by terrorists. The next one is Bob spotting a goat and following it to a spring in the desert. The final one is Bob and Lynn releasing the goats and prisoners. Memorable moments - what moments in the film stood out for you? Give reasons. The moment where Larry was at the wedding and said it wouldn't last gave the audience of the character before we met him. Juno – Mise-en-scene Scene 1 – Doodle that can’t be un-did ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NocIDIeLTqA ) Setting This scene is set in a convenience store, and its bathroom. This makes it relatable to most people. It also highlights the fact that Juno’s family isn’t particularly well-off, hence why she shops there as opposed to other places. Costume Juno is quite dressed-down, emphasising her relaxed attitude to most things. The woman in the back of the shop is wearing a large, thick coat, possibly to conceal the fact she is stealing things. The shopkeeper is dressed in a bright yellow, allowing customers to easily notice him. Hair and make-up Juno has minimal make-up on and her hair put up in a knot. This shows her relaxed outlook on life and the fact she isn’t doing anything that day. The shopkeeper has a crazy hairstyle which possibly suggests why he uses such weird phrases when talking to Juno. This also shows that both characters don’t particularly ca...

Prop ideas – We didn’t want to use many props as we wanted the beginning two minutes of the film to be significantly fast paced and we thought using too many props could take away from that. However we did want to uses phones for FaceTime to bring another element into the film.

Costume Ideas As a group we decided we wanted them to wear everyday clothes however mould what they would usually wear to fit their character slightly. Jessica – well dressed, proper, Jack Wills Sophia  – dressed younger, all in white to symbolise vulnerability Emma – sensible, warm Tessa – trying to dress older than she is Billie – just very casual, what she would normally wear on an everyday basis, jeans and a t shirt
